Our goal at Pet N Play is to emulate a pet’s life at home and then add in lots of additional fun and attention that makes it “just like home, only better!” 

Dr. Richard Solomons, the owner of Pet N Play Luxury Resort & Spa, oversees the quality care provided to all guests of Pet N Play. Dr. Solomons is also the owner of Middlehope Veterinary Hospital and is excited to offer luxury, veterinary supervised accommodations at Pet N Play; a complete pet lodging, grooming, daycare and training facility, dedicated to the health and happiness of each of our guests. 

Dr. Solomons graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He is actively involved in the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley, New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Our staff consists of responsible, devoted and detail-oriented animal care professionals - each trained to offer unparalleled customer service and animal care expertise. As members of the Pet Care Services Association (formerly the ABKA), we abide by a Code of Ethics and a Pet’s Bill of Rights to conduct business according to the highest professional standards.
